As you begin your journey on the road to better health and wellness, it is my duty and privilege to provide the vehicle with which you need to acheive your goals! It is not just "working out," it is education. Some clients have recently finished physical therapy after an injury or surgery. Some clients are relatively healthy but need to lose a little extra weight. Some clients are athletes with very specific conditioning goals. Many clients see me because the one or two extra pounds a year have finally caught up with them and all of a sudden it seems the scale is registering 10-20 or more extra pounds. Where and when did this happen?
My job is to help you sort through the causes and work out the solutions with you.

GETTING STARTED
Since each person comes to me with different goals, challenges, lifestyle, nutrition and fitness levels, the process begins with a one hour consultation and fitness evaluation. This specific data is the basis for your customized fitness "education" program.
Consultations Include:
1 hour consultation includes free fitness and health evaluation, body fat assessment, discussion of goals and nutritional counseling. No obligation to purchase.
Should you choose to sign up and begin changing your life, you will receive a complete profile that is customized especially for you and is based around your goals and needs. Profile includes a complete health evaluation, detailed fitness assessments, including strength evaluation, flexibility, postural and balance assessments. Program design, calculation of lean muscle and fat mass, monthly evaluations and estimated time it will take to acieve your goals are all included.
KNOW YOUR PERSONAL NUMBERS
Another valuable aspect of this education process is for every client to know their personal numbers. This means knowing more than just your weight. You want to know your target heart rate, your fat versus lean body ratio, number of calories you should be enjoying a day to maintain your health and much much more. If you know your numbers, you know where you are.
If you know where you are, you certainly can figure out where you are going!!
Individuals that can exercise within a safe environment experience more success in reaching their goals. A trainer knows how to challenge, change exercises, change focus and create new goals.
STRENGTH TRAINING, CARDIO VASCULAR FITNESS, NUTRITION!
I am a fitness professional, whose primary focus is the success and well-being of my clients. My duties include:
1. Providing fitness guidance and education on a one-to-one basis in a safe environment.
2. MOTIVATING my clients to suceed in their goals.
3. Provide postural, body and weight assessments
4. Fitness assessments and testing.
5. Educating clients on resistance, cardio, stretching, and flexibility training and proper use of exercise equipment.
6. Providing nutritional guidance and support on a constant basis.
7. Providing monthly assessments on client's progress.
Committing to fitness training sessions can be costly! I am one of the few Connecticut Personal Trainers that can offer low pricing and flexible scheduling.
My 45 minute sessions include a variety of pilates, core strength, cardio kickboxing, yoga, stretch, weight training, strength and endurance training, plyometrics, coordination and balance training.
I am also able to travel, and will come to you! I understand the importance of convenience! There is no need for large gym equipment to achieve the results you desire!
